Starter Types Available
Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Starters
Complete VFD integration with your choice of drive brand (ABB, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.). Includes isolation disconnect, drive mounting, control wiring, and optional bypass contactor. Perfect for applications requiring precise speed control, energy savings, or soft starting capabilities.
Typical applications: Pumps, fans, conveyors, HVAC systems
Soft Start / Reduced Voltage Starters
Solid-state soft starters provide controlled acceleration to reduce mechanical stress and limit inrush current. More economical than VFDs when speed control isn't required. Available with adjustable ramp times, current limiting, and kickstart features.
Typical applications: Large motors, high-inertia loads, limited power systems
FVNR (Full Voltage Non-Reversing)
Traditional across-the-line motor starters with contactor, overload relay, and control transformer. Simple, reliable, and economical. Available with various NEMA sizes, coil voltages, and hand-off-auto control options.
Typical applications: General industrial motors, simple on/off control
Reversing Starters (FVR)
Full voltage reversing starters with mechanical or electrical interlocking to prevent simultaneous forward/reverse operation. Includes forward and reverse contactors, overload protection, and control logic.
Typical applications: Hoists, conveyors, positioning systems
Combination Starters
Starter with integral disconnect and motor circuit protector in a single unit. Provides disconnect, short-circuit protection, motor protection, and control all in one compact package. UL listed as a combination starter.
