Models We Support
We build buckets for all Square D MCC types: Model 4 (1970–1982), Model 5 (1975–1990), and Model 6 (1985–present). The Model 6 is the current design with its distinctive T-handle mechanism. Model 4 and Model 5 buckets are still in service at thousands of facilities, and we maintain the capability to build replacements for both.
History & Background
Square D introduced the Model 6 in 1985 as an upgrade to their earlier designs. The T-handle mechanism with horizontal release bar became an industry standard for ergonomics and safety. When Schneider Electric acquired Square D in 1991, they continued the Model 6 line, which remains in production today.
