About Square D Motor Control Centers
Square D (now part of Schneider Electric) has been manufacturing motor control centers for over 60 years. Their MCC lineup includes some of the most widely installed motor control systems in North America, from vintage Model 3 and Model 4 units still running in many plants to current Model 6 and Model 7 systems.
We manufacture MCC buckets that are mechanically and electrically compatible with all Square D models. Our buckets use the correct stab pattern, door style, handle mechanism, and mounting provisions to drop right into your existing Square D lineup.
Square D Models We Support
Model 6
Square D's current-production MCC lineup, introduced in the mid-2000s. Features improved stab design, easier bucket removal, and modern component mounting. Available in Class 8998 (Type A) and Class 8065 (Type B) configurations. Buckets available in heights from 6" to 48" with various amperage ratings.
Most common: 12" and 18" feeder buckets, 18" and 24" starter buckets
Model 5
The workhorse of industrial facilities from the 1980s through early 2000s. Model 5 MCCs are still widely installed and supported. We build buckets with correct stab configuration, door latching, and component layout to match your existing sections.
Typical heights: 12", 18", 24", 36" | Bus ratings: 600A-4000A
Model 4
Vintage Square D MCCs from the 1970s and early 1980s. While Square D no longer manufactures Model 4 buckets, many are still in service. We reverse-engineer the stab pattern and door hardware to build exact replacements.
Common challenge: Finding correct stab spacing and door handle style
Model 7
Square D's latest generation MCC system with advanced features like arc-flash reduction, improved service access, and better wire management. We build buckets compatible with Model 7 sections using current-production components.
