About GE MCC Buckets

Models We Support

We build buckets for the GE 8000 Series (1985–present) and 7700 Series (1975–1990). The 8000 Series features GE's ergonomic curved handle and spring-loaded release mechanism. The older 7700 Series uses a simpler straight pull handle. Both remain widely deployed.

History & Background

GE introduced the 8000 Series in 1985 as an evolution of their 7700 line. The new design emphasized safety and ease of maintenance with an improved handle mechanism. When GE sold their industrial controls division (now part of ABB), the 8000 Series design was retained.

Why Order From MCC Depot

GE buckets through distribution channels often carry long lead times and hefty markups. We build GE-compatible buckets in 3-5 days at fair prices. Whether you need a single 8000 Series replacement or a batch of 7700 retrofits, we've got you covered.
